Campaigns

Campaigns are gearing up for the general election on November 2, 2010. The positions of Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, Secretary of State, Treasurer, and US Senate are all up for election. In addition, all State Representative seats and 21 State Senate seats plus all US Congressional seats are available.

With Illinois' notorious history of corruption, our state is ready for the libertarian alternative. Please help us give Illinoisans the opportunity to vote for liberty by running as a candidate or helping our candidates win.

Our campaign teams are forming and your help is needed! If you would like to volunteer as a campaign manager, treasurer, volunteer coordinator, fundraiser, webmaster, spokesperson, writer, researcher, event planner, graphic designer, photographer, or videographer with any team, please email Campaign@LPIllinois.org.

Campaign Coordinators

We are also looking for people to be Campaign Coordinators in their area and act as a focal point for collecting and distrbuting petitions, campaign literature and yard signs; as well as scouting possible event locations and identifying local media.

Petition Drive 2010

Illinois election law requires us to collect 50,000 petition signatures between March 23 and June 18, just to have a reasonable shot at getting our candidates on the ballot.
