Campaigns
Campaigns are gearing up for election day, November 2, 2010. The positions of Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, Secretary of State, Treasurer, and US Senate are all up for election.
There are only 346 days left until the election—no time to waste!
With Illinois' notorious history of corruption, our state is ready for the libertarian alternative. Please help us give Illinoisans the opportunity to vote for liberty by running as a candidate or helping our candidates win.
Announced Candidates
The Libertarian Party of Illinois selected a candidate for each of the following offices at the 2009 Convention. The candidates listed have been endorsed by the LP Illinois. We still need candidates for the open offices. The final slate of Candidates will be announced in March.

We must fill a "state slate" (the first 6 offices above) for any of those candidates to get on Illinois ballots. Please consider running for any of these positions, even if your time and budget are limited. Attorneys and accountants are particularly urged to run for Attorney General and Treasurer, respectively; their industry expertise is really needed in our state!
